- If you enable this policy setting, Citrix Optimizer (CtxOptimizerEngine.ps1) will be executed. Optional you can define the name of a template that should be used during execution. If there is no template specified, BIS-F will search for an OS-specific default template. If there is no appropriate template available, the execution of Citrix Optimizer will be skipped.
It is also possible to define a list of GroupIDs (defined in the template) of setting groups that should be executed. The value must be a comma-separated string; e.g. “DisableServices,OptionalServices”. If there are no GroupIDs specified, Citrix Optimizer will execute all available setting groups.
To run Citrix Optimizer in analyze-only mode, check “Mode: Analyze only”. - If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, Citrix Optimizer will not be executed.
Prerequisites: Citrix Optimizer must be installed on the Base Image first (BIS-F will check the following locations: C:\Program Files, C:\Program Files (x86), C:\Windows\System32 or you can enable and define a custom search folder within this policy. Example: Copy the complete extracted folder of the Citrix Optimizer download to C:\Program Files (x86)\CitrixOptimizer

Enter multiple templates comma-separated and with no spaces, example:
PVS_Optimization.xml,3rd_Party.xml
AutoSelect with Multiple Templates:
For Autoselection of the OS Template in combination with multiple Templates please use:
AutoSelect,PVS_Optimization.xml,3rd_Party.xml
AutoSelect is a hardcoded string and must be used in the GPO, BIS-F will trigger the right OS template for Citrix Optimzer
(Optional) Templateprefix:
By default, Citrix Optimizer is looking for templates that start with “Citrix_Windows” and are provided by Citrix as part of default Optimizer build.
If you would like to use your own templates with auto-select, you can override the default templates prefix.
For example if your template is called “EUCweb_Windows_10_1809.xml“, use TemplatePrefix “EUCweb_Windows” to automatically
select your templates based on the current operating system and build.
Delete Optimizer LogFile:
The Optimizer Logfile is included in the BIS-F logfile, with this option you can delete it from the system itself.
