This policy settings allows you to manage the Citrix Workspace Environment Agent Settings (WEM)
- If you enable this policy setting, you can configure the WEM Agent settings
- If you do not configure this policy setting, the WEM Agent settings will not be changed.
- If you disable this policy setting, the WEM Agent will be configured back to the origin local path.
Move WEM Agent Cache to the PVS or MCSIO persistent disk:
If you enable this item, the WEM Agent Cache is moved to the CacheDisk
Requirements: PVS Target Device driver or VDA 1903 or higer (MCSIO) must be installed to take effect.
Enable custom WEMCache folder name:
Specify a custom WEM Agent Cache folder name, enable this setting
Requirements: PVS Target Device driver or VDA 1903 or higer (MCSIO) must be installed to take effect.
WEM Agent Cache folder name:
Enter the name of the WEM Agent Cache folder, e.g. WEMCache
If the folder doesn’t exist, it will be created automatically
Requirements: PVS Target Device driver or VDA 1903 or higer (MCSIO) must be installed to take effect.
NOTE: Please specify the name of the folder only, without any drive letter!
With BIS-F 7.1912.6 and later the GPO is updated to support the latest WEM Agent Cache Setting as well. GPO settings take affect with WEM Agent 2012 or higher.
Configure the WEM Agent Startup Cache Option:
Change this settings does not need a new seal process of your Image.
For WEM Agent 2009 or lower this settings are ignored and the default value -RefreshCache is used.
For WEM Agent 2012 or higher, you can set one of the following settings:
- RefreshCache: Triggers a cache build or refresh
- RefreshSettings: Refreshes agent host settings
- RefreshSettings & RefreshCache: Refresh agent host settings and agent cache simultaneously
- RefreshCache & Reinitialize: Reinitialize the agent cache
